Our stay at the lodge had its ups and downs. While the hot tub and clean lodges were definite highlights, we faced some issues like cold cabins and a few maintenance problems. The location was perfect for visiting nearby attractions, but there were some areas in need of improvement, especially regarding furniture and general upkeep.

The stay was a mix of tranquility in nature and some frustrating issues. The lodge was spacious and clean but needed some upkeep. The remote location offered peace, but the lack of Wi-Fi and poor phone signal made it challenging to stay connected. While I enjoyed the private hot tub and the beautiful wooded views, the shower temperature issues and the long, rugged access paths detracted from the overall experience.

Unfortunately, the lack of maintenance in some areas detracted from the experience, including an uncomfortable bed and a tricky shower. Overall, it was a lovely break, but it could use some TLC to be truly enjoyable.

I had a lovely stay, enjoying the clean and spacious lodge, along with its relaxing amenities like the hot tub. The isolated environment was perfect for unwinding, though the shower temperature control and the lack of extra toilet roll were slight inconveniences. The location is surrounded by peaceful walks and nearby pubs, definitely adding value to the trip.
